BIO4EEB to Join EU-CIRC BUILT Webinar on Bio-Based Materials and Sustainable Construction

BIO4EEB will take part in an upcoming webinar organised by the EU-CIRC BUILT project on 17 June 2026 at 10:00 CET. The event will highlight how bio-based materials can support the transition towards a more circular and sustainable construction sector.

Bringing together four Horizon Europe and New European Bauhaus initiatives — EU-CIRC BUILT, BIOARC, INGUMA_Biobased and BIO4EEB — the webinar will showcase innovative approaches to building renovation, circularity and the use of renewable materials in construction.

BIO4EEB’s contribution

Representing BIO4EEB, Project Coordinator Klaus Luig will present the project’s latest achievements and the lessons learned from its demonstration sites.

As BIO4EEB approaches its final phase, the presentation will also provide an overview of the remaining activities and the project’s progress towards delivering innovative bio-based solutions for building renovation.

The webinar will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about:

  • the New European Bauhaus initiative;
  • the latest developments from the EU-CIRC BUILT, BIOARC and INGUMA projects;
  • the role of bio-based materials in improving circularity and sustainability within the construction sector;
  • the practical results and experiences gathered through the BIO4EEB project.
