Upcoming workshop: advancing circularity in construction
On 9 December, the “Towards more circularity in construction” workshop, organized by the European Builders Confederation (EBC), will bring together EU-funded research projects to share practical solutions for a circular built environment.
Projects like BIO4EEB, SUM4Re, and DISCOVER will showcase strategies to minimize waste, extend material lifecycles, and integrate renewable resources into construction.
The event will feature a keynote by the Head of Unit for Circular Economy and Secondary Raw Materials at DG Environment, highlighting the EU’s commitment to sustainable building practices.
BIO4EEB: turning natural resources into circular construction materials
BIO4EEB is at the forefront of bio-based construction solutions, including renewable Posidonia panels and bio-fibres for insulation. These materials reduce dependence on non-renewable resources while enhancing building performance.
The project demonstrates how bio-based materials can be scaled and integrated into modern construction, contributing to a more circular and sustainable built environment.
👉 Register now for the workshop on 9 December and discover how circular, bio-based solutions can redefine construction practices !
