Last week our coordinator, Klaus Luig chaired the 2nd edition of Circular and Bio-based Building Solutions workshop organised by Sustainable Places Conference in Luxembourg.
We are excited to welcome more sister projects on board! Together with experts representing EASI-ZERo, Reincarnate, Wood2Wood, DeCO2 and MEZeroE EU projects, we discussed the methodologies to address various aspects of sustainable products, from their development and application to their environmental impact and real-world performance in construction.
The speakers showcased innovative building envelopes and renovation materials that enhance energy efficiency, save resources, and reduce carbon footprint. During the round table the drivers and barriers towards adopting bio-based materials in buildings were further discussed.
At BIO4EEB, we continue to look forward to develop collaboration strategies with our sister projects. A dedicated section on relevant projects, highlighting our collaborations will be published on our website in the near future.
This workshop recording will be available on BIO4EEB website soon!
